Here is a different use of a poster I once used. The original was at bus shelters and was approximately 3.5 x 5 feet. This new version is tiny: 8.5 x 11 inches and used mainly at a few local pet supply stores. The "BLANK" area is for a vinyl pocket business card holder.
The one used on the bus shelters had MUCH LESS information, since most viewers were driving by in their cars. This version is basically a business card distribution holder.
If you click on the image you should be able to see it in a larger version.

www.WholesomeDogFood.com -Best kibbled dog food made!
The core of all my dog's diets. The only kibble I feed.
I am in the process of attempting to get another URL (domain) for my dog related informational and promotional sites. I dare not mention the actual URL because in the past people have scarfed up the domain(s) before I could get it/them myself. (Ethical bunch some of these dog professionals... And no I am not naming names publicly, that has never been my style.)
This domain is a great one, problem is it is just recently out of "registration" and not yet available for new purchase. It is sort of a cat and mouse game right now. I go look for it twice a day, it should become available any minute! Literally. And I am hoping to be the one that does grab it, either way once it is purchased by me or some other (jerk), I will mention what the url is.
No peeking until then... But I think it is REALLY GREAT! I'll be interested in others opinions once someone owns it anew. It is hard to come up with good new dot coms, and dot coms are still the preferred suffix to use.
Enjoy the day,
Eric/DogStar
Another current informational site (of mine) all about dogs is called:
Rational Dog Training check it out!
Hello everyone,
I just got my first order of a new business card I had printed up. This card's primary purpose is to spread the word about the two online website resources I have up and running all about dogs, their training, care, rearing etc... Here is a copy of what the card looks like:
If you would be willing to help distribute these cards please drop me an email at (eldogstar@gmail.com) or use the Comments section below this post, and I will gladly supply you with as many as you like.
If you have any sort of facility, like a training facility, a grooming business, a vet office etc perhaps you would consider putting them out in a card holder (I would of course supply). Or perhaps you would be willing to simply pass them out to your own training clients as a good resource of interesting information. If anyone objects to the fact that at the bottom of the card I also reference my own training business site, I would gladly make up cards that omit that final small type line.
Your help would of course be greatly appreciated and I will gladly reciprocate by giving your business and/or website some additional exposure.
As always,

Link: Designer Dog Collar and Fancy Dog Collar Items - Dog Id Collar.com.
This is a kind of nice resource I was just shown. Collars with information embroidered on. Name, phone number, business name etc...
Apparently there can be volume discounts if you want to buy multiples to use as promotions for your dog training (or other dog related) business.
I am going to look into them.
Maybe you don't yet have a promotional mug or other promotional items. This is a great way to put these things together and further enhance your online presence.
I have decided to start collecting dog related business promotional mugs. If anyone is willing to swap me one of their Dog Biz Mugs I will swap one of my DogStar mugs.
E-Mail me privately your snail mail address and I will respond with mine as well.
Email me at: alfak9@earthlink.net
And put something in the subject line like: Swap Mugs
My mug is white with the DogStar logo with my website url wrapped partially around the logo. (It is a Cafe Press product.)
I have a new order of a dozen of my mugs coming in and I will order more as needed for this 'Swap Effort'.
All dog mugs will get displayed in my soon to be newly renovated office.
Thank you for your time,
Eric

Sorry the whole logo is not visible in the picture, not a great angle for the shot.
