Morning!
A little while ago I mentioned I was trying to purchase a domain that was out of registration (pending delete) and I was looking in frequently to buy it. Well unfortunately someone beat me to the punch. It was bought up by a domain name reseller!

Well I figured I was out of luck since most domains are sold for too much money in my estimation. By chance this morning I typed in the domain found it still for sale for a fairly reasonable price... So I bought it. Just to be extra careful I am still not divulging the URL. I am waiting until the transfer is complete and it is in my"hands" so-to-speak.

So hopefully real soon I will anounce the URL. I do think it is a good one, and one I will be making subdomains off of for a series of dog training & care commerially oriented websites.

Does Your Dog Vote?

I am on a few dog trainer discussion groups, some for professional dog trainers, some are open to dog owners, an intertesting observation is how much "gripping" goes on about losing our "rights" to own and enjoy our dogs.

I will only suggest that I hear lots of gripping but only a select few seem to take any proactive action. The blog I am talking about takes lots of action and if you want to start taking action, even in small way Does Your Dog Vote? is a great place to get a start.

Excellent post at another professional Dog Trainer's Blog about the potential for dog bites to children and most especially to their faces. I link to Margot's Blog from this blog already but in this case I felt a direct link to the exact page was needed.

Mine all mine...

I have registered a new domain URL to be directed for this Blog. While not yet propagated, within 24 hours it should be. The new URL is:

WOW! Longggg... time

Wow... it really has been a long time. Looking through the logs this Blog is still getting substantial hits!

I had considered shutting it down so long had gone by since I was able to work on it.

BUT things have changed and I am going to get back to giving this Blog some time on a regular basis again.

I was hoping to find a group of Bloggers involved primarily with dogs but that never came to fruition. Anyway, I will get this Blog back into working order again and make it a resource unto itself, then MAYBE we will inspire some other dog types to do something similar and we could start linking up a whole series of Dog Blogs!

Meanwhile I have recently set-up a website for what are known as the Regional Groups of the IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals) please swing by and take a look at it:
